Naval Ravikant (@naval on Twitter) is the CEO and a co-founder of AngelList

He is an active angel investor and has invested in 100+ companies including Twitter and Uber, in initial stages. He is financially free and working towards living a good day, everyday!

He is an exception.

Naval’s famous Twitter thread

Video Version

“Desire is a contract you make with yourself to be unhappy until you get what you want.” – Naval Ravikant

It’s like

Unhappiness ←desire—> Happiness

He also says, have few desires but don’t desire everything. Because that takes your mental space.

He also stated Krishna Murti about suffering which was ” Suffering is the moment when you see reality as it is”. This allowed my mind. I highly recommend reading that line again or make a note of it because it’s just so remarkable.
